I have been staying at Blvd. North on working vacations every year since 1996. Before that I stayed at Aquarius, Beach Haven and other Broadbeach area high rises. Although the Building is not the newest, most of the units I have stayed in were nicely appointed and many had a/c. The sauna, pool, and tennis courts are as good or better than any high rises I have visited on the entire Gold Coast. The facilities are well maintained by the Managers. Unlike other buildings I have stayed in, visitors who behave like yobos are not allowed to stay. The Managers are all too willing to send them packing. (While this may annoy the bogans, it serves to make everyone else happy.) Probably the best thing about Blvd. North, however are the views that are available from any of the units above level 3. Blvd. North is the last high rise heading north out of Broadbeach, so the aspect is particularly unobstructed. In particular, the 2BR units at the front give you a view from South Straddy to the north - down to Cooly to the south. Go in June \ July and take your binoculars to spot the whales.
