A Night on Bourbon Street – New Orleans Mardi Gras

Experience the New Orleans and Mardi Gras fever! Professor Cunningham and his Old School are known as one of the top bands of the International Swing scene. After becoming a band five years ago, they have been successful both in their home state New York City and across the globe, drawing fans from the most swinging and grooving repertoire deeply immersed in the New Orleans tradition. A mishmash of styles influences Their sound from early jazz to early R&B. Shades of Sidney Bechet, Fats Domino, Fats Waller, and Professor Longhair can be heard. "Professor" Adrian Cunningham is an Australian born New York-based musician and vocalist. He is the head of the award-winning band. They have won the international swing band competition World Jam in Madrid, earning three awards for Best Band, Best Rhythm Section and Best Horn Section.

The Professor will be presenting a special one night show of pure New Orleans Jazz. Feel the vibe of Mardi Gras over in New Orleans! The Professor is in demand with a packed international schedule. He has performed at the top Jazz Festivals and Swing Events. Be sure to catch the show on March 6 at Home of the Arts. Music lovers will enjoy the hot jazz and fantastic repertoire of The Professor and his band.

Jane and Kel Go to Hell

Jane and Kel are best mates. They are not only housemates, but they are also drinking mates with horrible jobs and even worse judgement.

After losing her job, Jane has to make ends meets, so someone needs to move in. Roy seems like the winning choice. Jane loves him, but Kel doesn't trust Roy. Kel feels that something is not right. Roy is quiet and non-judgemental but seems to appear out of the blue. But there are worse choices. It's not like he's a demon.

Except that Roy is a demon. And he's plunged Jane to Hell. Now it's up to Kel to find her way to the underworld before Jane's soul is gone for good – and right in time before the next house inspection. Presented by Share House Theatre Company, catch the show from March 28 – 30 at Home of the Arts.

NTL: Allelujah (E)

Alan Bennett's sharp as a tack and funny new play is the cure for the blues. Filmed live at London's Bridge Theatre, be sure to catch this stellar production full of songs and an abundance of wit. The Beth, an old fashioned all-around hospital which serves a town in Yorkshire, is threatened with closure as a victim of the efficiency drive. A documentary crew, driven to capture its campaign for survival, follows the daily problems like finding beds on the Dusty Springfield Geriatric Ward as well as the victories of the old people's choir.

One of Britain's most renowned writers, Alan Bennett's plays have been celebrated. Plays such as The History Boys, The Lady in the Van and The Madness of George III, all of which have been translated to film. Allelujah! is his tenth collaboration with acclaimed director Nicholas Hytner.

Water Lilies of Monet: The Magic of Water and Light

Don't miss this walk through the masterpieces and passions of the remarkable Impressionist artist. When Claude Monet came out of the depression that had made him abandon his painting, he dedicated himself body and soul to his most enormous undertaking: The Grand Décoration – large panels portraying his water lily pond, so all-encompassing that the viewer's eye is immersed in an atmosphere of serenity and peace.

This brand new and profoundly immersive art film lets us discover what inspired Monet to go back to work and to achieve such a stunning and timeless work of art. Follow the River Seine on a visually rich journey from La Havre to Giverny and Paris, through crucial moments in the life of the world's most prominent painter, with incredible up-close access to some of his greatest works.

Featuring special guest stars including actress Elisa Lasowski of Game of Thrones fame, and shown with the independent participation of Ross King, author of the best seller Mad Enchantment: Claude Monet and the Painting of the Water Lilies, the film is a personal tribute to a genius.
